Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Google+ and the list goes on! There are so many social networks out there vying for your time. With so many users, its hard to get noticed.
Someone once gave me this advice: Post when your followers are online.
This made sense in theory. I didn’t want to send messages into a void; I needed them to go out when people were listening, reading & engaging. After all, if God put a message on my heart to share with someone – I wanted it to actually reach that someone.
I didn’t want to miss the mark just because I wasn’t Twitter-savvy. Also, I didn’t want to feel like I was wasting time when I could be doing something more productive. The advice felt right.
The problem was, I didn’t know how to implement it.
Well I wanted to share a tool I found called Tweriod.com. It analyzes your followers and tells you when the majority of them are online. It works based off the timezone in your profile so the answers will be based on that.
It analyzes up to 1000 followers for free. There is a premium level that you can purchase as well that goes beyond 1000 followers.
It’s not instant – they actually are analyzing you followers tweets and engagement. You don’t have to follow them; but its neat if you do! Once you receive your report back, you can try to time your posts to fit into the windows they recommend.
Have you ever tried this or any other method of figuring out when to post? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me!
