Welcome to Fellowship Fridays!

Today’s featured post comes from community member, Rebekah, who blogs over at “Ready to Be Offered”. She linked up her post, “Part 1: The Place of Prayer” to Fellowship Friday 67 last week.
Rebekah begins with a with quotes & poetry about prayer by such lions of faith as A.W. Tozer, Alfred Lloyd Tennyson, & J. Hudson Taylor.
Each of these pulls at both the conscience and the heart in a way that leaves you curious as to where the blog post is going. And the destination is worth your time!
Prayer is the root of our Christian existence.
Not memorizing scriptures. Not knowing all the words to hymns or praise choruses. Not any position. Not anything else. Though these other efforts have their place and are edifying and useful, they cannot come before prayer.
Rebekah’s post was instructive and encouraged me to seek out my time for prayer.
I believe there are many christian (mom, dad or otherwise!) blog owners, out there who are hungry for this type of authenticity. What a great post!
Let me know if her post encouraged you the way it did me.
#KeepPressing in the faith, everyone! You inspire me!
