Today is day 12 of our 31 Days to a More Reader-Friendly blog series. See all the posts here!
Do you have posts in your archives not getting the attention they deserve? Now that you’ve been blogging for a couple of years, your posts can get lost and forgotten. We don’t want that! Therefore, compiling your archives into what ProBlogger calls a “Sneeze Page” is a great way to create a more reader friendly blog. Plus it will help improve SEO on your site.
A Sneeze Page is one that simply directs readers in multiple directions at once – back into your archives.
Sneeze pages are easy to create, but will have an enormous impact on the reader friendliness of your blog. We want our blogs to be “sticky,” which just means we want people to get lost in our site – clicking one link after the other. So think about how you can compile your archives into pages that will benefit your readers.
