Blogs are all about community. Your contact page gives your readers one more way to communicate and connect with you. In order to create a reader friendly blog, you need a good contact page.
Make it easy to find.
Don’t hide your contact information. Make it easy to find. If someone wants to contact you, like your newsletter email sign up form, don’t make them search for it.
Set expectations for your readers. We receive a lot of emails. As moms, we generally won’t respond within 24 hours. Feel free to set expectations for your readers.
Consider a FAQ page.
We found that we were getting the same questions over and over again. Therefore, we added frequently asked questions to our contact page. This has helped cut down on a few of the emails we get repeatedly. In addition, it helps point people in the right direction on our site for how best to contact us or find the information they are looking for, especially if they seeking to advertise with Christian Mommy Blogger.
List your social media profiles.
Use your contact page to share other ways to connect with you such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. This offers more opportunities for interaction and grows your social media platform.
Although a contact page might sound insignificant, it can really make your blog more reader friendly. Blogs are about community. So make connecting easy!
