Two of the most popular blogging platforms are Google’s Blogger & WordPress. On the one hand, they can be great because you can create beautiful websites and blogs very quickly. This is so great for moms (and anyone) who are trying to blog while keeping up with everything else in your life. Its hard to know all the ins and outs of keeping it the most up to date.
And as time goes on with your blog, you may want to make some tweaks to improve how your blog appears to your readers. One common update is changing your background on Blogger. Your background is just as important as your blog graphics and you want to make sure everything goes together in a way that is visually appealing.
Before you pay someone to updated your Blogger background for you, I wanted to show you how easy it is to do it yourself!
Of course, there are a couple reasons why you would still pay someone to update your blog for you:
- You’re too busy
- You’re doing a complete re-haul and this is just a small portion of the change
If those two things don’t apply to you, read on:
Blogger Background Change Step One:
Open up your Blogger Dashboard. In the menu that appears on the left, click “Template”.
Blogger Background Change Step Two:
Click on Customize.
Blogger Background Change Step Three:
Click on Background.
Blogger Background Change Step Four:
In the center of the top of your screen, you should see the different options for changing the color scheme of your background. The options vary based on which template you have chosen. Click on any of the options shown under “Suggested themes”.
Blogger Background Change Step Five (Optional):
You can also use an image for the background which is pretty cool depending on the goals or mission of your blog. To do this, click on the drop down arrow in the box beneath Background Image.
Then you can upload your own image or scroll through the images provided by Blogger.
And now your gorgeous blog is ready for awesome new content and social media sharing!
