{Seeking Revival} An Invitation to Join Our Prayer Blackout

Nikki and I recently had the privilege of attending the True Woman Conference 2012 in Indianapolis, IN. While there, God really stirred our hearts for a prayer revival!

At the conference, the theme was revival starts with repentance and it starts right in your own circle. We were encouraged to draw a circle around ourselves and pray that God would change us first! It was powerful. Really powerful.

In addition to individual transformation and revival, we were encouraged to gather together other women to pray for revival as well. God arrested both of our hearts to use our blogs as a means to do this.

Would you join me in this ten minute video as I share our heart for prayer revival across the Internet, and how you too can play a huge role in what God is planning to do? Consider this your personal invitation, as if I knocked on your door and we sat at your dining room table discussing the possibilities of revival in our churches!

So on Thursday, October 18th, we are preparing to “shut down our site.” We will have a static page that prompts those who visit us to PRAY for OUR PRESIDENT and the upcoming election. Each month, on the 3rd Thursday, we will shut our page down, forgoing all stats and potential income and encourage those who visit our sites to PRAY! Each month, we will have a prayer prompt on our static page for our readers to see and read and pray. We have dreams for ALL CHRISTIAN BLOGS AND BUSINESSES to do this regardless of their topics!

Think about it…what if 7 of us who receive 1,000 visits a day shut our page down. That is 7,000 people being asked to pray for revival!

So would you consider joining us for a prayer blackout not just this month, but the months to come? This is your invitation, your personal invitation, to be a part of something bigger than your corner of the Internet!

If you’re worried about how you can do this when you don’t know the first thing about how to shut your page down, you’re in good hands. I don’t either! But I know people who do. Nikki will have a “how to” right here at Christian Mommy Blogger this Wednesday, October 17th regarding how to “shut your page down,” as well as a link up for blogs and businesses who will be participating! {Update…click here for the how to!}

Many a movement has been started by a few people gathered together in a small room dreaming about a possibility. Imagine what a few women (and men) who love Jesus … and have the Internet at their disposal can do!

Will you be joining us?

  1. Love your passion girl :)

  2. SO excited to be joining you in this!
BTW, my neck does the same thing when I get really passionate or nervous! :)

  3. This is fascinating. I would love to join in, but only if I can easily switch my static page without too much brain chaos. And of course, I’ll have to double up on my 31 Days to SuperMom posts since I’ll miss one day in there.

  4. Yes, I plan to join you! Thanks to Brenda at TripleBraided for letting me know about this great idea to get us all praying and seeking revival.

  5. You know I’m in!

  6. Kind of late but I will be joining you! Looking forward to seeing what God is going to do both in my own home and in all of those who will be joining!

  7. Sounds awesome.

  8. Yes! Yes! Yes! WHAT IF!?!? What if we pray and believe? WHAT IF?!?
    Yes, I’m in!
