Hmmm…I am updating my site so much that it could be any number of things…for one, the widget is inactive. Let me activate it!

.
Ha ha…thanks for commenting! I thought we could all use some laughs…and a little personal look into my crazy life
Loved this and am totally stealing the idea from you and Amy. I appreciate transparency and honesty in writers. Well done!

Steal away! And perhaps share it next week? Yeah!
#7–LOL!! Yep!
#35–You got nothing on me!

Loved the list, Nikki!
ha ha, you’re right, cool…and no joke what a bummer! ha ha
This was really fun to read! Much of it felt like I was reading about myself! LOL
I’m glad! Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the laugh. Of couse some of them were sad
But I like how random you are lol. I love blogs. It would also be nice to actually know some christian mommy friends and not just read about their lives. Well that’s it for now
So sweet of you to visit and leave such a nice comment! I hope you subscribe so you won’t miss a post! I have a few good ones up my sleeve (but that, of course, is my opinion). Thanks for visiting
You are welcome
I will definately subscibe. Looking forward to reading more
OK all teared up because only you could so clearly write a list that brings back memories of tears and good times and I end up laughing. Most all the above is the same for me, shocker! But here’s my list for you….Lockhart is better than Bloomington for the following 23 reasons:
1. I said so
2. I am here
3. Gus is here
4. Colby is here
5. Colby hunts
6. Anthony likes hunting
7. I am the only one you can drive with way too fast
8. I am the only one you can sing way to loud with
9. I am the only one you can ignore all day while I pester you
10. You need to be here to beat me at shuffle board
11. I am your only remaining best friend in the entire world.
12. I am your entire world….oh wait well I used to be….that counts for something
13. I need you to drive me everywhere I go when Colby is not here because I hate driving and you do it so well.
14. I need your ipod
15. I need Blackhawk
16. Your girls will love seeing me more, they need more me. Who else is gonna teach them to dance…oh wait maybe we don’t want that….
17. Your girls need Gus to protect them against dem cowboys
18. Your girls will like dem cowboys
19. I miss you
20. We need to make more secrets
21. You long for Christian friends…..um heeeeeeeellllllllllllooooooooo! What am I chopped liver?
22. I somehow left how great lockhart was and got on to how great I am…hmmm….I need to be humbled so I guess you’ll move to bloomington!!!!!!!!!!
You are precious my lil sister, My heart, my mirror. And my fondest memories lie with you and I am blessed for everyone of em…good ones, the ones we regret and the ones we forgot….they are part of the molding. I am thrilled to watch you grow and I love your blogging. You do a great job capturing the essense of Nikki but none of it captures it like a day of sister time and too much coffee. Be blessed and be encouraged for I have not ceased praying for you. At least lately, I wasn’t that great at prayer but have been working really hard at it. Even getting up at 5:30 to do so….yah I know unbelievable…..and you are top of my list mi amore!
Erin you are too sweet! What a great list! You made me lol with the iPod and Blackhawk. I always got SO annoyed when I went to my room only to find my iPod wasn’t there AGAIN. Always knew where to find it though
you both crack me up! I would love the time to learn more about both of you, but my life as pastors wife, mother and teacher and master chef to 4 children, 2 dogs and one cat, doesn’t leave a lot of this kind of time. In fact, my hubby is calling me to bed and it’s 11:25pm and as you know, morning comes ever so quickly. My humor left me when my 4 th child came along….probably went out for a long drive with my bladder control. Whatever happened to the girls we were??? Some of my friends are grandmas! Iweird to think that could have been me if i actually started having kids at 20. That means mom could have been a great grandma already…not sure she’d like that one just yet!
Keep up the blog work while you can. Hopefully i’ll pop back in at least once a year!
Number 68 cracked me up! I’m soooo glad I’m not the only person out there that can spend an entire day “doing laundry” and actually have done nothing but re-fluff the one load that I had put in there the night before!!!!
Loved your list and I’m looking forward to guest posting with you on Modern Alternative Mama!
Thanks for checking it out! I had fun making it….my first post comes out tomorrow…hope you enjoy! Look forward to getting to know you better for sure!
Loved reading this. Feel like I learned a lot about you. Xoxo
Thanks! A lot of info was provided. Lol.

I think I am A LOT like you — no kidding! Although, not laid back (opposite dynamics in our house with my spouse) Love this list. Think I may steal your idea. What a great way to allow your readers to get to know you without reading an autobiography online!
BTW– also hate when I don’t get comments on FB (and the blog for that matter).
But I have faithful readers . . . this I know.
Okay, just read through them all (without skimming!) and realized how similar we are! Army wife here (CT National Guard)…got engaged to my hubby after dating for 4 mths. and married 4 mths. later (we both knew that God had brought us together, but my family needed a year to catch up!) Still going strong after 8.5 years, 3 kids 6 and under, and a current deployement underway! I am by nature messy and hubby is a neat freak!! Like, so stressed out he’s threatened to just turn around and walk back out the door when things are so chaotic! (he hasn’t done that yet, though) I also wake up at 6am to make my hubbys lunch and coffee…because if I don’t he won’t eat anything all day and then I feel horrible. (It’s just another way I say ‘I love you’ to him, I guess.) Bones and Castle are my top 2 shows, too
Well, that’s where I’m going to stop or this comment is going to turn into a post! It’s nice to meet you!
HI I just found your blog. I loved the LIST. I hope you move to bloomington, IN someday because I live in Indy and I could meet you half way and we can have COFFEE and talk about our daughters!! I have a sis and I have 2 daughters and 2 sons. I love my Keurig and I like to drive. I am not a homebody though and if I start a book I have to finish it!! Looking forward to browsing your blog. Thanks!
I moved to Bloomington a few months ago! The Lord has been changing our lives a lot lately! Looks like we have a lot in common
I forgot to add that my husband and I met and married with in 7 months and had our first baby 3 years later. We’ve been married 24 years! And my favorite TV shows are Castle CSI and Flashpoint. I used to watch Bones and the Mentalist without fail but just don’t get to anymore.
